Official Version 1.0 news says Starsand Island has 14 romanceable NPCs and adds dating activities — picnics, arcade games, and seaside kite flying — for all of them. Independent Early Access guides instead named 15 Bond-tagged characters (eight bachelorettes, seven bachelors), romanceable regardless of your avatar's gender. Official copy never publishes the roster, so which name separates 15 from 14 is unresolved. Romance runs on five heart levels fed by daily talk, gifts, bulletin requests, lost items, and quests. At five hearts you can ask a Bond character to Move In — the in-game term guides describe as the marriage-like end state; there is no wedding ceremony in opened sources. Early Access reports said Youfang could be romanced but could not Move In.

Character Directory
The 15 names below are the Bond roster named by independent Early Access guides (Eurogamer, VG247, DualShockers, Sportskeeda), which agree with each other. Official 1.0 news says 14 romanceable NPCs but does not name them — so treat this as the best available candidate list, not a confirmed 1.0 roster.

How Affection Works
Every NPC relationship has five heart levels, shown in the dialogue corner and under Phone > Social; romanceable characters carry a Bond tag under their portrait. Affection comes from several levers — the values below are press-reported, not official:
| Action | Reported gain |
|---|---|
| Daily conversation | +5 (once per day) |
| Loved gift | +15 |
| Liked gift | +10 |
| Bulletin Board request | +15 to +25 (TheGamer); ~15 easy / ~30 harder (Eurogamer) |
| Return a lost item | +20 |
| Profession / character quest | about +50 |
One gift per NPC per day. Disliked and hated gifts are listed as 0 points in gift guides, though Eurogamer's romance page warns they "may have the opposite effect" — unsettled, so just avoid them. For per-NPC preferences and their confidence levels, use the Gift Guide.
Heart Progression
Bond characters unlock a new interaction at each heart. The unlock names agree across VG247, Eurogamer, and TheGamer:
| Hearts | Unlock |
|---|---|
| 1 | Gifting — they may give you gifts |
| 2 | Group-photo invite |
| 3 | Room visit (guides say there is usually a chest inside) |
| 4 | Post Bulletin Board requests for that NPC |
| 5 | Move In (Bond only) |
Dating Activities
Official 1.0 news (16 August 2026) separates two systems:
- Relationship Stories unlock as you grow closer. Once an NPC reaches 3 hearts, check the mailbox the next day for a letter, or a visit to a familiar place may trigger a special quest. Early Access saves already at 3 hearts unlock these without restarting. Gematsu's report on the official 1.0 overview adds that 19 NPCs receive new three-heart and five-heart relationship quests.
- Dating becomes available once the relationship is strong enough: invite them out for a picnic, arcade games, or seaside kite flying — listed for all 14 romanceable NPCs.
Move In and "Marriage" Terminology
Players searching "marriage" should look for the in-game term Move In. Per Eurogamer, Sportskeeda, VG247, DualShockers, and Gamezebo's Early Access coverage:
- At five hearts you can ask a Bond character to Move In — they do not move in automatically.
- Move In is for Bond characters only; platonic NPCs cannot Move In.
- wiki.gg's Getting Started notes a spare bed on your property is required.
- There is no wedding ceremony in any opened source, and official 1.0 copy mentions no wedding, rings, or children. DualShockers speculates marriage and children may come in future updates — that is speculation, not a feature.
The Youfang and Count Conflict
Until Seed Sparkle Lab publishes a roster, this page keeps the official 14 and the named EA 15 side by side rather than flattening them into one number.
